In Space

Space: the dimensions of height, depth, and width within which all things exist and move.

“How do artists define space? Is it contained within a claustrophobic interior or unbounded by a panoramic vista? Is it three-dimensional or flattened and abstract? Tangible or elusive? Neutral or charged? And what of the space within our own minds?” -PAFA

This ongoing series of photographs aims to explore these questions.

This project was inspired by the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ curation of their permanent collection. See more here.
